Festival and Telecast

The awards program will consist of three major components:

1) A two- to three-day multicultural festival, which concludes the awards adjudication period. During this festival, nominees preselected for their outstanding artistic talents will exhibit, perform, present, and lecture/demonstrate their accomplishments.

2) A two-hour live worldwide telecast of the awards ceremony. Inherent in each year’s roster of nominees is the world renown of many artists, athletes, scientists, explorers, and the like. Theirs is the precise stage upon which The Ascent will highlight its less-sung nominees. The telecast will be augmented by a brilliant and charismatic master of ceremonies and further enhanced by live performances featuring the top names in music, by candid insights from award recipients, and by minidocumentaries profiling the exemplary contributions of nominees and Ascent laureates.

3) A Grand Finale Gala, broadcast from the host city’s finest ballroom, terrace, museum, or castle.
